The story behind the studio
Welcome to Always in Bloom. I’m Erika, the hands and heart behind the press.
The story began with my sister’s beautiful wedding bouquet; I taught myself to press flowers and fell for the joy of extending nature’s beauty.
One piece became many, and now I carefully preserve petals as keepsake art.

FAQs
How long do pressed flowers last?
Pressed flowers can last for many years when cared for properly. Factors like direct sunlight and a humid environment can shorten the lifespan of your floral art.
While no flower lasts forever, our pressed and preserved flowers are designed to stay vibrant and beautiful for years to come.
How long does it take to press flowers
Every flower presses at its own pace. On average, the flower pressing process takes 8-12 weeks depending on the type of bloom and its moisture level. We never rush the process, giving each petal time to dry naturally so your finished piece looks as close to the original bouquet as possible. Allow up to 12 weeks to receive any custom flower pressing.
How quickly do I need to get my flowers to you?
The fresher the blooms, the better the result. If you’re booking a custom pressed flower artwork, you need to get the bouquet to us within 1-3 days of your event. We are located in Sydney’s inner west, so you can drop off your flowers in person or ship it if you’re outside Sydney, we’ll share simple packing and postage instructions to keep your flowers safe in transit.
What’s the best way to display pressed flowers?
Keep your pressed or dried flowers somewhere out of direct sunlight and away from moisture to help preserve their colour. It’s best if you avoid placing the pressed flower artwork in the kitchen or bathroom areas. If you plan on displaying your pressed flowers in an area that gets sunlight, select a UV-resistant frame upon checkout.
